H1N1 ; Selsema si babi kutok


Hari ni, Selasa 28 Julai 2009, SM Teknik Melaka, Bukit Piatu telah ditutup setelah ramai suspek pesakit H1N1 dikesan pada 27 dan 28 Julai 2009.
Sekolah dicutikan bermula dari 28 Julai 2009 hingga ke 3 Julai dan sekolah akan dibuka seperti biasa pada 4 Julai.
Pelbagai program seperti lawatan ke Zoo untuk Projek Sivik beberapa buah kelas terpaksa ditunda ke tarikh lain dan lawatan ke Kedah yang dijadualkan pada minggu depan masih belum pasti; adakah terpaksa dibatalkan lawatan tersebut?
Kelas-kelas Al-Biruni juga terpaksa ditangguhkan ke tarikh lain. Perjumpaan Mentor-Mentee juga yang dijadualkan pada hari ini terpaksa ditangguhkan.
Hari penyampaian Anugerah Guru Cemerlang peringkat negeri Melaka daerah Melaka Tengah yang dijadualkan berlangsung pada Khamis petang di Dewan Wawasan sekolah tidak diketahui statusnya, sama ada akan ditangguhkan atau bertukar tempat atau tetap akan dijalankan.
Banyak kelas-kelas tambahan untuk pelajar SPM 2009 juga terpaksa ditangguhkan seperti kelas tambahan bagi subjek Mechanical Engineering Studies untuk kelas 5 Mekanikal 2.
Status para pelajar yang di'isolasi' masih tidak diketahui penulis.Sekiranya ada berita terkini, insyaAllah akan dimaklumkan kepada pembaca Kereta Ini; The Blog.

the experiment.

Aim : To understand the wireless system better.
Problem statement : Can we increase our wi-fi signal?

Hypothesis : A hand-made satellite can improve the wi-fi signal by connecting a wire from the hand-made satellite to the wi-fi modem either the laptop.

Variable :
manipulated - the hand-made satellite
responding - the wi-fi signal
constant - the length of the wire use

Apparatus :
-enough alumunium foil to cover the hand-made satellite.
-a copper wire(any length as u need)
for satellite,
-a 'penutup periuk kukus' or anything that similiar like a basin or etc.(based on ur creativity)

Procedure :
1. take the aluminium foil and cover the -basin,penutup periuk,etc-

okay, if u want to increase the signal of your wi-fi modem, follow this step.
(it must be a wireless router)
1. firstly, screw out your wireless modem arial. (the one that spread the wifi wave)
2. then put it aside. take the wire then connect it to the arial port at the modem(not at the arial.i mean the port that located at the modem to screw in the antenna.it is gold in color-depend on your router.mine gold-)
3. then, connect the wire to your hand-made satellite.if ure using a metal satellite, just put the wire on the metal.if not, put the wire at the aluminium foil.
4. turn on ur modem.done.uve just increase the area that the modem will send the wi-fi signal.

if u want to increase the signal of your laptop, follow this.
1. firstly, find any suitable place (that will flow the electric current such as screw , usb port etc).
2. connect the wire to your hand-made satellite.if ure using a metal satellite, just put the wire on the metal.if not, put the wire at the aluminium foil.and connect the other side of wire at your laptop either at any screw neither the usb port.
3.now, refresh the wireless network.

Observation :
For experiment at the wi-fi modem.
- the wifi signal detected at the laptop increased by 50-100%.usually it only detect as "low"(2bar).now it detect as "good"(3bar) or "verygood"(4bar).
-once it increase 150% as the bar was full signal.

For experiment at the laptop.
-not too repulsive actually.
-the problem mainly at the connection of wire connected to the laptop.
-at first the bar showed as "low".
-after doing the procedure, it increase to "good".
-it also sumtimes increase to "verygood.
-but it always "good". it means increase in 50%-80%.

Conclusion :
Hypothesis was accepeted in both condition!

PRECAUTION.
when u experimenting with the laptop, and you connect the wire to the USB port, there may be a message blink up says "Power Surge On Hub Port". it means the copper wire that connected the hand-made satellite has exceeded the power limit of the USB port.

Do this experiment at your own risk.

I will not responsible if any damage or death or injury or anything bad that happen to you.

high electric shock MAYBE occur when doing the experiment using the wifi router/modem.

theres a small probability of electric shock to occur when u doing experiment with the laptop.however, i dont confirm this.this just a theory.
